Collaboration areas¶
Spaces/Projects¶
Spaces/Projects are used for storing data for an activity across different users. You can request these areas by filling in the Request project space on EOS/CERNBOX form in Service-Now.
Note
Please note that large experiments/activities have dedicated EOS areas, and users can consult their experiment storage managers about this (see 'EOS for Physics' Service Level Description for more details).
To have an overview of the projects to which the logged in account has access to, it's possible to list them by clicking in Spaces
on the left menu.
This list includes the EOS Projects and other areas. EOS Experiments or Physics instances, for example, are also available if you click in the filter "Explorer" or "All".
Project administrators can see the shares associated with a file/folder and will be able to edit them. Any shared created by an admin will be displayed to any other admin.
To access the trashbin of a project, just click in Deleted files
, in the left sidebar, and then on the project name.
Project quota¶
Quota of a project can be viewed in the details of a space ( or right-click).
Other spaces/data sources¶
Other data sources will be added to CERNBox as well. Access to the other EOS instances or the HPC home directories, for example.
